Delete your account

You can delete your CalChopAI account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to email us or give a reason.
Draft for review. This page describes how CalChopAI is actually built and what it really does with your data, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be before public launch.
  • Open CalChopAI and sign in.
  • Go to the Profile tab.
  • Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  • Tap Delete to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Email [email protected] from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is your account, delete it, and reply within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because the App Store or Google Play takes the payment, not us. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you are not charged again.
  • Your account and sign-in details, and your profile: name, email, age, sex, height, weight and goals.
  • Every meal you logged, with its photos and nutrition details.
  • Your water, weight and exercise entries, and your progress photos.
  • Your streaks and badges.
  • Groups you created, your group memberships and everything you posted in groups.
  • Your Help & Support conversations.
  • Records of subscription transactions, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We are not allowed to delete these on request.
  • Backups, which may still contain your data for up to 30 days before they are cycled out.
You can delete individual records in the app whenever you like. Delete a meal and its photo goes with it. Weigh-ins, water and exercise entries can each be deleted from their history screens, and you can delete your own group posts.
To have anything else deleted while keeping your account, email [email protected] and we will do it within 30 days.
